Cité de l’énergie - www.citedelenergie.ch LABEL “CITÉ DE L’ÉNERGIE”

Mirabaud LX is an experimental sailboat, unique in the world, born out of the vision and experience of sailor and engineer Thomas Jundt. It is one of the world’s most innovative sailing boats. It is designed to skim on its hydrofoils, and is the first sailboat to dispense with the need for a hull.

The boat features a load-bearing tubular structure in carbon fibre, a remarkable engineering feat. Every last part is optimized for light weight, so that the craft can lift itself above the water as soon as possible.
MaxComm is in charge of Mirabaud LX’s communication for both Mirabaud & Cie and Thomas Jundt, reporting amongst others on the record attempts and organising shows for the media.

In 2008, MaxComm also produced a movie on the Mirabaud LX, for the Swiss Sailing Night and the
World Yacht Racing Forum.

The Mirabaud LX is a technological breakthrough that could well revolutionize the sailing world, in much the same way as multihull technology did some thirty years ago.
