The Yacht Racing Image is the world’s premier photography competition open to international professional sailing photographers. Founded in 2010, organised and owned by MaxComm, it brings together the best professional marine photographers from around the world every year.

The Syz Translémanique en Solitaire is Lake Genevas’ most demanding single-handed regatta. Scheduled the last weekend of August, the event reassembles 100 top level sailors.

The Bol d’Or Mirabaud is the world’s most important regatta held on a lake. A true technological laboratory since 1939, it is the showcase of Swiss sailing, bringing together professional and amateur sailors on the same course: from Geneva to Bouveret and back, a total of 123 kilometres around Lake Geneva.

The SNG has been a pioneer in water sports since it was founded in 1872. With over 4,000 members, it is the largest club in Switzerland and one of the largest in Europe.

Team Genève is the cantonal programme developed by the Cantonal Office for Culture and Sport, aimed at supporting the athletes preparing for the biggest international sporting events: European and World Championships, Olympic and Paralympic Games. In 2023, Team Geneva reassembles 41 athletes representing 28 disciplines.

The BCGE Tour du Léman à l’Aviron is the longest rowing regatta held on a lake. It consists of a 160 kilometers tour of the lake, non-stops and without external assistance. Each crew is made up of five rowers and there are four categories of competitors: Masters, Novices, Elite Women, Mixed.
